Choose a starting point

Three products. Three different conclusions.

A cotton option

MATE Organic Pima Classic Tee. A conditional option based on the exact product claim and a matching public supplier record.

A claim to pause on

MATE Organic Fleece Relaxed Crewneck. Held for missing product-specific proof. See what to ask for before choosing it for a certification claim.

An outerwear case study

Patagonia Men’s Down Sweater. Separate the shell, down and finish claims. An example of label reading, not an audited replacement recommendation.

Public evidence checked September 9, 2026. These examples are not equivalent endorsements. The guide shows the evidence and its limits beside each item.

An actual page from the guide

Five labels. Different jobs.

The guide’s side-by-side explanation of what five certification labels cover.

An evidence-led buying and care guide, with limits beside each example. It is not a certified-safe clothing list. No hands-on garment, residue or comparative health testing was performed.

See what the evidence actually covers.

A fibre claim, a processing certificate and a residue test answer different questions. Check the exact product and scope instead of transferring one label’s meaning to another.

Are all three products recommended?

No. The MATE Organic Pima Classic Tee is a conditional editorial option based on public evidence. The fleece crewneck is held for missing product-specific proof. The Patagonia jacket is a case study in separate claims, not an audited replacement recommendation.

Does a certificate settle the whole question?

No. Check the exact product, label, scope and current record. The MATE supplier record reviewed for this edition showed an October 3, 2026 expiry; recheck it before buying. The guide did not obtain a scope-certificate copy or shipment certificate.

What does the US$8.88 include?
